SYNOPSIS
Wahtawah, the daughter of the Delawarean chief, is promised to Chingachgook, the last Mohawk, who has been accepted into the tribe. However, before the nuptials could take place, the Huronese raided the Delawarean camp and ran off with Wahtawah. Together with his friend Poacher, Chingachgook sets out to free Wahtawah, but only after the English have attacked and subsequently destroyed the Huronese camp the wounded Huronese chief is ready to declare peace with all Indian tribes.
